Lost by 0.07% in Asian Games Dressage

Indonesian Dressage Team participated at the Asian Games Incheon 2014. The games was held in Incheon, South Korea.

Indonesia represented by Larasati Gading (Wallenstein), Alvaro Menayang (Diamond Boy) and our rider Ferry Wahyu Hadiyanto (Douceur). They were unlucky as they lost the bronze medal just by 0.07%.

The gold medal went to the host nation. It was the fifth consecutive win for South Korea, which Japan took silver ahead of Chinese Taipei in bronze medal spot. Indonesia finished a very close fourth while China, India and Thailand filled the remaining places on the leaderboard in that order.

Youngshik Hwang steered Fursteuberg to the highest score of the competition when posting 74.342 per cent. And when that was backed up by a healthy 71.237 from Dongsson Kim riding Finally, 69.658 from Yooyson Chung with Royal Red and 68.816 from Kyunsub Kim with Dark Secret then the Republic of Korea posted an average final score of 71.746 to claim the gold when the top three scores were taken into account.

Shingo Hayashi produced the highest Japanese score of 71.395 with Veranus while team-mates Kazuki Sado (Winnetou DDH), Tomoko Nakamura (Pacific B) and Mayumi Okunishi (Freestyle) posted 69.184, 68.947 and 68.895 respectively for an average team total of 69.842.

Chinese Taipei’s final tally of 67.386 was achieved by Ko Wen Wang (Daquino), Yu Chieh Chang (Nora), Li Yu Kuo (Temptation) and Hsiu Hua Yeh (Urban Legend) for the bronze, but the Indonesian score of 67.316 for fourth place was all the more creditable for the fact that there were only three competitors in this side, and therefore no drop score. Helios to Emporiums Stable

Helios, the 2 years old dark bay stallion, was leaving Equinara. He is now owned by Emporiums Stable, East Java.

We congratulate Mr Agus and wish him best of luck and joy in raising Helios as a future stallion and sport horse. We are very excited for his future.

Helios is by Namelus, a KWPN stallion. Namelus’s most famous son is Triple X rode by Ben Maher of England when Great Britain Team won a gold medal in 2012 Olympics.

Diacontinus-Stakkato Filly, Welcome to the Family

In Saturday (19/4) morning, we got great news from Schwarme, Germany. Our state premium mare Sarafina gave birth to a baby girl.

The filly’s father is Diacontinus. The 4 years old stallion is by Diarado – Contendro – Argentinus. He finished the Hanoverian stallion licensing, rightly, as a Premium stallion. With ease, outstanding ability, and an excellent jumping manner, he was more than convincing in the free jumping. This genetic talent for jumping was also accompanied by brilliant movement in all three gaits.

So it was not a surprisee  when Diacontinus in the 2013 70-Day Stallion Test at Adelheidsdorf, Germany, named the overall champion in a field of 23 stallions. Helped by his incredible jumping score of 9.36 and a dressage score of 8.01, his total test score was a convincing 8.65 to take first place.

In March 2014 Diacontinus got the “Stakkato Prize” for the highest score in jumping at the 2013 Stallion Performance.

Stakkato himself is Sarafina’s sire. Sarafina left the mare show in Dobrock in 2011 as the winner of her division and is registered with the Hanoverian Jumping  Breeding program, just like her dam and granddam. Walke is dam of nine successfully competing offspring, among them Sissi-Top by Salito (placements in jumper riding horse classes, Amatus by Acorado (victories in advanced jumper riding horse classes) and Elke by Escudo I (placements in medium level jumper horse riding classes).

The dam line of Auslag is known for the jumpers Gaia Girl by Cavalier (victories in advanced jumper riding horse classes) and KN Malna by Lastro (victories in advanced jumper riding horse classes).

Our Newborn Colt by Stakkato

We are welcoming our first foal this season. The handsome colt is by Stakkato – As Di Villagana. Stakkato is 2007 stallion of the year. He has 45 licensed sons in Hanoverian and at least 81 foals by him was in elite auction. More than 359 successful sports horses sired by Stakkato are registered.

In the show jumping ring, Stakkato himself was also exceptional. He was a multiple German Champion with earning of 240,000 Euro.

Meanwhile the colt’s dam, St.Pr.St Alpacca, is by As Di Villagana who has had a stellar career as a show jumper after exported to USA where he won many GP competitions.

Alpacca is the full sister of the licensed stallion Asti’s Amsterdam who is approved for Hanoverian Jumper breeding program. In the 30-day performance test in 2004, Asti’s Amsterdam got a perfect 10 for jumping scope and 9.25 for style.
