We are expecting four of our young stallions to be in stallion licensing this year. Two for Hannoverian and two for Oldenburg.
The first one is Quaterway (2013 chestnut Hannoverian). He is by Quaterback – Walt Disney II – Werther. Quaterback has already started his winning ways. Paired with the talented young rider, Christian Flamm of Hessen, Quaterback led the competition at the Bundeschampionate in 2006. He started his stallion career by being named Champion of his licensing in Neustadt/Dosse in 2005.
Quaterway’s dam, St. Pr. Winona (by Walt Disney II), comes from a productive damline of Schwanjungfrau. This damline has produced 30 licensed stallions and 74 state’s premium mares. And
also 293 placings in advanced level. Next is Duke Nero (2013 black Hannoverian). This four socks young boy is by Don Index out of Dauphin (by Donnerhall) mare. Don Index, shiny black, tall, long legged, big hearted and ready to perform, he wins the stallion performance test in 2010. In his pedigree we can find names such as Donnerhall, Lauries Crusador xx and Weltmeyer, which makes him an elegant athlete with the best genes.
Then there is the Oldenburger Diamant Delaqour (2013 bay Oldenburger). He is by the great Diamant de Semilly who needs no introduction. Diamant Delaqour dam’s sire Quidam de Revel, was the phenomenal stallion that possesses the amazing qualities of mind, balance, strength and energy. Quidam de Revel has achieved extraordinary results in show jumping under Hervé Godignon. Together they won team bronze at the Bracelona Olympics and placed 4th individually.
Diamant Delaqour’s mother Quaprice comes from the Holst Stamm 1333 which has produced several auction horses.
Last but not least is Furst Royal (2013 black Oldenburger). He is by Furst Romancier out of a Stedinger mother. Furst Romancier was a premium champion and the most successful stallion of at the World Championships for five-year-old dressage horses in 2009. Furst Romancier also won second place at the Bundeschampionate in the qualifiers for the final with the mark of 9.0. In the finals of the Bundeschampionate Furst Romancier was placed fourth. He also placed fourth at the World Championships for dressage horses.
