Kirrie Kannan is very special to us. His mother Anke (by Abke) is the half sister of the famous Codex One. Codex One has first made a name for himself in 2004 where he was the top selling horse at the Hanoverian Spring Elite Auction. He was sold as a licensed stallion at Euro 170000. In 2007, he placed in the finals of the Hanoverian State Championship and in the Bundeschampionate in Warendorf.
It was in 2010 when Codex One took the international jumper scene by placing second under Karl Brocks at the CSI4* Indoor Grossen Preis von Frankfurt a.M. Following those achievements, the stallion moved to the stables of German Olympic rider Christian Ahlmann who then developed the stallion’s skills and talents and had great success with him. One of Ahlmann’s and Codex One’s biggest highlights was when they won the Grand Prix in Aachen in 2014.
