St.Pr.A. For Championesse is an exceptional mare. Type, quality of movement, rideability, and willingness to work are nearby perfect. She completed her mare performance test with a final score of 8.19. (8.50 8.50 8.00 / 8.50/7.50).
For Championesse is by Furstenball, a stallion who is a fascination to the eye. With maximum lightness, submissiveness and elasticity he represents himself as an outstanding modern dressage horse. The stallion was sold for a record price of 1100,000 Euros as an auction foal. He was a Champion stallion and the performance test winner, with sensational dressage index scoring 154.98 points (9.0 or higher for a total of 16 times and a 10.0 for rideability. Furstenball continued his dressage career with greatest success. He won the 2011 Oldenburg Regional Championships in Rastede, the 2011 German Young Horse Championships (Bundeschampionate) in Warendorf and was a finallist at the 2011 World Young Horse Championships in Verden. He also became Bundeschampion of the five year old dressage horses that year, receiving a top score of 9.5 for trot and overall impression, 10.0 for walk, 9.0 each for canter and submissiveness and finally he won the championship with a score of 9.4. Prior to this, he became Oldenburg Regional Champion with a score of 9.1. Later on he also became sire of a Champion Stallion, and all that at a very young age! After he was named Champion Stallion at his licensing in 2008, Furstenball already passed on his remarkable traits to his first offspring, the Champion Stallion Follow Me who became the price highlight (400,000 Euros) at the Oldenburg Stallion Days 2012 in Vechta. In the same year he has once again proven his quality with high placings in the regional championship and Bundeschampionship as well as at the World Championships for six-year old dressage horses.
Furstenball’s successes did not happen by chance. His sire, Furst Heinrich, was himself Dressage World Champion and produced 48 stallions and, so far, 38 advanced (S) level dressage horses after just a short time in breeding. In 2013, Furstenball produced another four approved stallions in Verden, including the price highlight Farrel (Blu Hors Stud/DK) with the price of 460,000 Euros and the premium awarded Finest. So far, Furstenball has produced 10 stallions that have been licensed. His first offspring has already won young horse competitions in 2013 and gained 167 points and became one of the top stallions of the FN’s breeding value estimation within his age group. He was named Hauptpremium Sieger in Oldenburg as a 4-year old with the best first crop of foals and Performance Test results. In 2013 he won his first advanced (S) level classes and Prix St. George tests in 2013 and during the Oldenburg Stallion parade he was celebrated as the VTV-Dressage Stallion of the Year.
For Championesse’s dam, Bellvue (Brentano II x Andrang xx) is a very good producer. She is the mother of Samarant (by Sandro Hit) who once a stallion standing at Paul Schockemohle’s yard. He was licensed by Hannoverian and SF before then sold to Denmark in 2008 and being castrated two years later. Under Schockemohle’s stable rider Anja Engelbart, Samarant competed at the 2005 Bundeschampionate. In 2007 he produced 20% of the foals that qualified for the German Foal Championship Finals. Two out ten foals in the finals were by Samarant.
Another For Championesse’s half brother is Worchester by Weltmeyer. He is a successful medium level dressage horse.
