A Succesful Achievement- KEJURNAS EQUESTRIAN 2015 (National Equestrian Championship 2015)

After successfully holding the Menpora Cup in 2012, Equinara Horse Sports has once again organized a show jumping competition at Arthayasa Stables on the 19th-20th of September 2015. This time the competition was titled Kejurnas Cabang Olahraga Equestrian 2015 (National Equestrian Championship 2015) which was hosted together with KONI (National Sports Committee of Indonesia) and Kemenpora (Ministry of Youth and Sports) where the riders fought for the Head of KONI Cup and again the Menpora Cup.

For this year’s competition, Equinara Horse Sports invited international officials Marco Behrens (FEI 3* – GER) as the course designer,  Joseph W.O Park (FEI 3* – KOR) as the  president of the ground jury and N.Y. Ho (SIN) as the member of ground jury. The competition classes included starter, novice, small tour, medium tour, pre- PON (national sport games) classes and last but not least the Grand Prix.

The president of the Kejurnas Cabang Olahraga Equestrian 2015 event, Adinda Yuanita says that this competition really challenged the riders and horses to optimize their skills. “In 2016 we have the national sport games in West Java, followed by the SEA Games in Malaysia in 2017 and the highlight will be the Asian Games in 2018 where Indonesia will be the host. Therefore, this event is very beneficial for the preparation and qualification of the Indonesian athletes, “ Comments Adinda, who is also the CEO and Founder of Equinara Horse Sports and DeLaqour Premium GmbH. According to her,  the athletes’, clubs’, horse owners’ and all stake holders of the equestrian community’s bond was strengthened through this show jumping competition. “I am also very grateful to the  Youth and Sports Minister Mr. Imam Nahrawi, the head of KONI Tono Suratman, the head of KOI (National Olympic Committee of Indonesia and all parties  and sponsors that have assisted us for this event.”

Adinda also added that the reason for inviting international officials is so that this national event really challenges the skills of the athletes. There were 170 entries that participated from 18 clubs from various regions who competed at the national equestrian championship 2015. “Even though this is a national event , but the international officials guarantee that the level of difficulty of the championship is truly of international level. For instance, Marco Behrens,  is the youngest FEI  3 *course designer in the world, so his capability is not to be questioned. The equestrian community in all parts of the world always regards the course designer in the arena to judge the quality of a championship,” says Adinda.
