Last year Bertram Allen won the FEI World Breeding Jumping Championship for 6 year olds (21/9) with Barnike (Baldwin B x Animo). This year the young couple repeated their win in Lanaken, taking home the championship final for 7 year old horses after two convincing clear rounds – also the only double clear round of the final.
Christian Ahlmann made it to the podium once again – ending second – with the Zangersheide gelding Casuality Z (Cassini II x Chellano Z). Casuality Z has a lot of experience from the World Championships finals, doing his third one today. Christian Ahlmann was the fastest rider of those ending the jump-off on four faults.
The bronze medal went to Niklas Arvidsson with the Swedish Warmblood stallion Hasard (Heartbeat x Voltaire) – also he with four faults in the jump-off. (World of Show Jumping).
