Pferde Forum magazine made an article about some horses that will participate in Oldenburg Stallion Licensing in Vechta 19-21 November. Two photos of our stallion Diamant Delaqour, Kat. No. 17, were published. One of them is in almost full page size. Danke!
Diamant Delaqour is special. His pedigre consists only winner, Diamant de Semilly – Quidam de Revel – Pilot. You can not ask for a better line.
He was discovered in Vechta auction two years ago. At that time we convinced that he will be special.
His sire was the 2002 Team World Champion and 9th placed individual, 2002 National Champion of France, and the team Silver medalist at the 2003 European Championships. Diamant de Semilly is the current WBFSH number one jumping sire.
The damsire, Quidam de Revel, Quidam de Revel will be remembered not only as a world class Nations Cup and Olympic jumper, but as a prolific elite sire as well.
Under Herve Godignon, Quidam de Revel won the 1990 Nations Cup in New York as well as the Grand Prixs in New York and Dortmund. The eight year old stallion won over one million Francs that year. In 1991, Quidam and Herve not only were team fourth and individually sixth at the European Championships in La Baule, they also won the Nations Cup in Hickstead, were second in Rotterdam, seventh in Calgary, and were fifth in the World Cup finals in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Representing France, Herve and Quidam de Revel helped secure the team bronze at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games and were fourth individually.
While Pilot, the greatdamsire, was the first showjumping stallion with progeny to earn one million Deutschmarks – in fact by the end of 1999, Pilot progeny had earned a staggering DM6,250,000.
Unfortunately, his career was coming to the end at the height of his powers.
Diamant Delaqour’s mother Quaprice comes from the Holst Stamm 1333 which has produced several auction horses.
