Romtudor was licensed at the Hanoverian licensing in 2014, where he showed the crowd his talent. He has three very good gaits, is light footed and has impressive shoulder-freedom.
Romtudor is by Romanov Blue Hors. At the Oldenburg licensing in Vechta, Romanov was awarded an honorable award which goes to young stallions that stand out remarkably in both sport and breeding. Blue Hors Romanov continues his significant success in the breed as well as in the dressage arena. At the Danish stallion licensing in 2008 his son Blue Hors Rosoff became premium stallion and stood out as an exemplary Danish Warmblood stallion with type, movement and pedigree that hardly gets any better.
Wolke, Romtudor’s dam, is by Wolkenstein II. Wolke produced Fleur d’Amour, a Hanoverian Premium Mare (by Furst Romancier). Wolkenstein II is a great performer and has passed his remarkable talent for dressage to his offspring. In 1997, six sons out of his first crop were licensed in Verden. Welser, one of his talented sons, became Reserve Champion. In 1998 his son Waterford became Champion Stallion at the licencing in Verden. A year later Waterford also won the stallion peroformance test in Adelheidsdorf. In the same year, Wildest Dream, another son of his, became the winner of the three-year-old riding horses (mares and geldings) classification at the Federal Championships of German Riding Horses in Warendorf. Wolkenstein II is the father of 22 licensed stallions of highest quality.
