Our team has once again put a big smile on our face. This year at the National Sport Games, known as PON (Pekan Olahraga Nasional) we have collected medals that are worth celebrating for. Team Equinara represented East Kalimantan and have made the province very proud. The Competition took place at Denkavkud Parongpong, West Java on the 16th-25th of September 2016.
Our showjumping team has shown their excellent skills and fighting spirit and won the gold medal. It was an amazing experience for the whole team. The team consisted of great horse and rider combinations: Ferry Wahyu Hadiyanto on Zandor, Yanyan Hadiansyah on Grenadine, Andry Prasetyono on Lady Dance and Erwin M. Yoga on Count Contend. The course was quite challenging and technical as expected from course designer Olaf Petersen. The riders and their horses have handled the course very well with very little mistakes.
However, that was not the only medal. Mira Warganegara and her lovely Lucitano stallion Xeique have finished their tests in harmony and elegance. Both in the team dressage test and at the freestyle test they have worked hard and looked very beautiful together and won a very well deserved bronze medal in individual dressage.
